Supporting your voice

Disability SA’s Developmental Educators and Occupational Therapists can provide advocacy within a participant’s school, workplace or community.

Our role is to provide an additional voice and practical support so that a participant’s wants, needs and human rights are clearly communicated and can be actioned collaboratively.

Advocacy may support

  • Communication with schools and educators
  • Workplace participation and inclusion
  • Community access and participation
  • Collaborative planning with key stakeholders
