Children & Social Supports

Engaging programs and social supports that build confidence, connection and participation.

Children’s programs

Disability SA provides engaging support for children and young people through programs and activities that encourage participation, confidence and skill development. Programs are delivered with a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approach that respects individual communication, regulation and participation needs.

Support workers can work alongside Developmental Educators to help children participate in structured activities, practise new skills and enjoy positive experiences in a supportive environment.

Social support

Our social supports encourage connection, participation and confidence through activities and community experiences. The focus is on building social skills, developing friendships and creating meaningful experiences with others.
