Volunteer with Disability SA
Volunteering with Disability SA is an opportunity to contribute to inclusive, positive experiences for people with disability while becoming part of a supportive South Australian organisation.
Our volunteers can assist alongside Disability SA staff with programs, activities and community experiences. The focus is on participation, connection and helping create welcoming environments where people can be themselves, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences.
Who can volunteer?
We welcome enquiries from people who are interested in disability, neurodiversity, community participation and inclusion. This may include students, people considering a career in the disability or allied health sectors, retirees, or community members who simply want to contribute their time and skills.
Volunteering may include
- Supporting group programs and activities
- Assisting with social and community experiences
- Supporting inclusive events and activities
- Working alongside Disability SA staff and professionals
- Helping create positive and welcoming experiences for participants
Volunteer opportunities will depend on current programs, participant needs and the suitability of the volunteer role.
